This lovely interior staging design work was composed by Alexis Dongallo in Walnut Creek. Great designers always make my job easier.
Afro Project
I had a great time photographing singer Dan'Nelle for my afro project. This is an ongoing portrait series because I love afros, natural hair is beautiful and I want to highlight folks who are not afraid to rock it. It's important to just be who your authentic self is and sometimes it's difficult, but that's what makes us unique.
We headed out to San Francisco and photographed in the Mission. They have some lovely murals in that area.

Tradition
I photographed this traditional shingle-style home in Los Altos for TOPOS Architects, Inc. a few weeks ago. Shingles always seem to give a home a warm appearance.
World Traveler
Advice from a native Brooklynite - "get a lemon Italian icy and pizza while in New York". I will be following this advice in July when I head out to New York for the first time! I am super excited!
Allen came to my studio for a portrait over the weekend. I admire that Allen has traveled so many places around the world. He's full of cool stories and has such a unique point of view.
Vintage | Modern Portrait Session in Oakland
I was driving out of Oakland a few weeks ago and noticed a pink wall and knew I had to shoot there. On Saturday I met with this lovely woman and we had such a fun time! Be sure you check out her poetry and performances (link below). I love her spirit and spunk.
